If the batsmen fire, we would be hard to beat: Zaheer Abbas

Former captain Zaheer Abbas said Thursday that Pakistan could be the world's best team if they improve their batting, a frequent weakness in the recent past.

My Dream of becoming a Nurse is Not Unworthy

“I so want to be a nurse that each day after my school, I go to a clinic nearby my place and serve as a volunteer. People tell me, I should be a doctor, but I want to be a nurse! A career in which I can serve, change and save lives.”

This is a fragile yet determined, young girl, Shahneela’s tale, at the Indus Hotel in Hyderabad, who had come to collect her certificate for completing ‘Youth Development Programme’ – an opportunity for entering the nursing profession.

Ganguly says Dhoni's Test captaincy "obnoxious"

NEW DELHI: Mahendra Singh Dhoni's Test captaincy has come under severe criticism from former skipper Sourav Ganguly who described his leadership as "obnoxious" following India's humiliating series defeat against New Zealand.

Ganguly, one of India's most successful captains, said had the 50-over World Cup not been just one year away, he would have called for Dhoni's removal from captaincy.

"His (Dhoni's) Test captaincy has been obnoxious. But changing captains now will unsettle the team. His place is not in doubt in Test cricket, but Dhoni needs to set the overseas record right," Ganguly said.

"If the World Cup was not less than a year away, I would have agreed that Dhoni needed to be removed as captain," Ganguly told 'Headlines Today'.

India suffered their fourth successive Test series defeat abroad after their 0-1 loss to New Zealand in the two-match rubber which concluded yesterday. India have now lost 10 of their last 12 Tests abroad -- the other two were drawn -- a record that included two successive 0-4 whitewashes in England and Australia.

Dhoni's reputation as India captain has been severely dented and his defensive tactics at crucial junctures first in South Africa and then in New Zealand have drawn flak from experts though he continued to harp on the "positives". Overseas, Dhoni has captained India in 23 Tests, of which they have won five, lost 11 and drawn seven.

When Sunny Leone almost got strangled

This happened during a shoot in Malaysia. It is being said that in an action scene, actor Deepak Tijori, unknowingly hurt Sunny Leone.

Deepak is playing a villain in Devang Dholakia's Tina & Lolo which features Sunny Leone and Karishma Tanna. In the scene, Deepak, who had an arm around Sunny Leone, was dragging her as per the scene requirement.

However, what he did not apparently realise was that he had wrapped his arm so tightly around Sunny's neck that she nearly got strangled.

It was action director who saved the situation by instructing to cut the scene. Later, Deepak reportedly apologised to Sunny, who was in much pain, for this miscalculation. He reportedly said that Sunny was managing to walk through during the rehearsals.

However, during the take, she lost her balance due to his aggression and this mishap took place. Never mind, Deepak, just don't get carried away next time, eh?

Sunny Leone's next is India's first erotica horror Ragini MMS 2. The film is already creating lot of buzz after its trailer was released recently.
